For those of you looking to add a four-legged friend to your pack, and are interested in rescuing a homeless dog or cat but maybe aren't ready to visit your local shelter, I'd highly reccommend petfinder.com. Petfinder compiles all available pet-friends from both shelters and small rescue groups in your area, and allows you to search through the listings by breed, sex or age. Petfinder brought Mochi and I together and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Even if you're not sure that you're ready to adopt, take a look and see what fuzzy friends are available...you might just change your mind!
