I picked up one of these bad boys the other day in the hopes that it would (as the packaging states) "provide hours of mental stimulation". For those of you not familiar with the ETB, it is a semi-soft, rubbery ball with two open ends into which you place liver or chicken flavored dome-shaped treats. Your doggie pal then has a double-threat toy: delicious flavor AND ball-tastic fun times.
Mochi isn't a big chewer, but he does love him some beef-liver flavor. After a few days of attempting to get him interested, it's just not taking. He pushes it around with his nose, and gives it a lick every now and then, but so far he's seems pretty underwhelmed. For the $11 price tag, I'm disappointed.
This weekend I plan on giving him the chewable liver piece to see if he'll develop a taste for it...hopefully we can turn things around on the ETB front. Stay tuned!
Anyone have advice for using the Everlasting Treat Ball, or suggestions for other treats to put to use instead of the included treats?
Paws Out.
