Kong Me!

For those of you unfamiliar with Kong, listen up!  These babies will change your life, especially if (like me) you have to leave your critter alone for large chunks of time.  Kongs are hard rubber toys with a hollow center.  They come in many shapes and sizes, but the Classic Kong above is most common.  Stuff treats and food inside, and your pup will be busy for hours chewing and licking every last drop of delicious goodness out.  Kongs are a great way to ease separation anxiety, reward quiet behavior, and prevent boredom (and other not so-pleasant behaviors like furniture chewing, digging, and barking) when you're not around.  At about $10 per Kong, they're a bit spendy, but totally worth it!
